Carolin

A wall-mounted bookshelf in saturated dark red lacquered MDF, built for a dedicated reader. The piece is split by a structural shaft — one volume runs flush against the main wall, its counterpart breaks off and continues around the corner. Shelf spacing is tight, calibrated for paperbacks and reading copies. Against the white plaster and raw pine floor, the red reads almost architectural, a saturated block cut into the room rather than furniture placed within it.
