Carolin

A wall-mounted bookshelf in saturated dark red lacquered MDF, made for a dedicated reader. The piece is split by a structural shaft. One side runs flush along the main wall, while the other breaks away and continues around the corner. The shelves are spaced tightly, just right for paperbacks and reading copies. Against the white plaster and raw pine floor, the red feels almost architectural, more like a solid block cut into the room than a piece of furniture placed inside it.
