Customer Service

The design of KaDeWe’s new customer service area has reimagined the fifth floor of the historic KaDeWe department store in Berlin, transforming the former 'Silberterrasse' restaurant into a space for customer service, lounging and hospitaliy. The interior combines bespoke sofas with a collection of additional furniture and accessories. They compose a material world around terrazzo, mint velvet, and smoked glass, and the other upholstered in bright blue with terrazzo and clear glass legs.

Floor-to-ceiling drapery and curved slatted-oak walls give the space a strong but inviting atmosphere. During the day semi-transparent net curtain separates the lounge from the busy customer service. In the evening an opaque curtain in azure blue unites the gastronomy and lounge into one exclusive area.
