Wilderness

10 cm thick frames wrapped in semi-transparent textiles were installed as walls and ceilings in the east gallery of the Schirn Kunsthalle. The veiled surfaces create moments of protection and privacy within the open museum. The semi-permeable industrial textiles were chosen to echo the many murky environments captured by the artists in the Wilderness exhibition.
